29 CFR 1910.303(b): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling and unused opening in electrical cabinets were not effectively closed to provide substantially equivalent protection to the equipment: a) Building 13206, North office: The fridge used to store food and beverages was plugged into a yellow extension cord then into wall outlet. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards. b) Building 13026, North Bay Area: The power strip used to charge batteries and tools was plugged into an orange extension cord then into the wall outlet. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards. c) Building 1327, 2nd Floor Tire Storage Room: The electrical switchbox attached to the HVAC unit on the North wall had a missing knock out on the metal housing. Employees pulled tires off racks in this aisle and passed by the electrical hazards to exit the narrow aisle way. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards.
