29 CFR 1910.243(b)(2): Airhose and hose connections used for conducting compressed air to utilization equipment was not designed for the pressure and service to which they were subjected: The employer is failing to prevent employee exposure to hazardous release of compressed shop air and flying debris. On or about October 1, 2019, the following conditions were present. a. Screw type hose clamps were used for connecting the airline to the spin machine. b. Airline to the spin machine was damaged in two areas; outer insulation was split. Abatement documentation is required for this violations.
