29 CFR 1910.119(l)(1): The employer shall establish and implement written procedures to manage changes (except for "replacements in kind") to process chemicals, technology, equipment, and procedures; and, changes to facilities that affect a covered process: On or before 9/25/2019, In the facility: The company maintains a covered process in that they utilize a refrigeration/ freezer system which maintains over 10,000 pounds of Anhydrous Ammonia. The employer had not established and implemented procedures to manage change of chemicals, technology, equipment, procedures, and changes to the facility in regards to the Anhydrous Ammonia refrigeration/ freezer system, a covered process. Abatement certification is required for this item.
