29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3): Scaffolds and scaffold components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity: a - 165 Pine Street, Lakewood NJ: On or about 05/02/19, two company employees were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 10 feet to the ground surface below when working and walking from several supported scaffold systems whose components were visibly bent, damaged, modified to accept the longer spans between the end frames, etc. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
