29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3): Scaffolds and scaffold components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity: On or about 1/18/2019, at the first and second level of the facility being constructed at 1897 Allen Road, Macon, GA: Employees exposed to fall hazard at heights up to 33 feet 7 inches, while working on a two (2) scaffold systems with planks/decking boards observed with structural integrity such as but not limited to splits, cracks, damaged ends, and one or two plank/decking boards broken in two pieces. The employer failed to inspect and remove visible defective competent of the scaffold systems.
