29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.: (a)Dakota Bodies, LLC at 201 20th Avenue Southeast, Watertown, SD 57201: On or about and at times prior to October 30, 2018, the employer did not ensure employee were protected from debris and eye hazards in that, the outgoing pressure on a compressed air nozzle used for cleaning was in excess of 30 p.s.i. The air hose outside of the top coat powder spray booth had a damaged reducer on the nozzle and measured approximately 55 p.s.i output. This condition exposed employees to debris and eye hazards.
