29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performs work while on an aerial lift trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of aerial lift being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards: Employee(s) engaged in applying masking tape to windows that were elevated approximately 15 feet from ground at a commercial building under construction at 15301 Green Road, Olathe, Kansas were exposed to hazards such as struck-by / fall hazards in that the employee(s) were not instructed in the recognition of aerial lift hazards and the methods to mitigate those hazards.
