Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 006 Hazard:

29 CFR 1926.850(g): Where a hazard exists to employees falling through wall openings, the opening shall be protected to a height of approximately 42 inches. On July 31, 2018, located on the west side of a pipe and precast concrete plant, employees were performing interior demolition work within 6 feet of an unprotected wall opening while not utilizing a fall protection system. Potential fall heights were measured to be greater than 31 feet above the ground below.
