29 CFR 1926.652(g)(1)(ii): Shields were not installed in a manner to restrict lateral or other hazardous movement of the shield in the event of the application of sudden lateral loads: a. On or about 6/14/18, at 4425 E. Fletcher Ave in Tampa, FL, employees were working in and around a trench box in type "C" soil and the area around the shields were not protected from lateral movements. The employees were exposed to caught between hazards, in that, they could have been pinned between the shields, the concrete pipe inside the trench box, and the bucket of the excavator, that was inside the trench box too.
