29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Double Feeder NS:1330713. - On or about June 7, 2018, and at times prior to, the employer did not ensure that light curtains were in working order. Employees engaged in the manufacturing process were exposed to hazards including but not limited to being struck by hot glue and being caught in moving parts while walking from one side of the machine to the other and operating the equipment.
