29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i): Employees working in areas where there are potential electrical hazards shall be provided with, and shall use, electrical protective equipment that is appropriate for the specific parts of the body to be protected and for the work to be performed: Entire Facility - The employer did not ensure that employees used electrical protective equipment for the face, head, hands and body to prevent burns, electrocution, electrical shock, or other injuries when employees were performing maintenance operations on electrical systems. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards while troubleshooting and repairing cheese processing equipment. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
