29 CFR 1910.1025(e)(4)(i): When ventilation was used to control exposure to lead, measurements which demonstrate the effectiveness of the system in controlling exposure were not made, at least, every three months: 900 Jeffco Executive Drive, Imperial: The employer is exposing employees to hazardous conditions. The employees are permitted to work where required measurements of the effectiveness of the ventilation used to control exposure to lead are not made. On 11/07/2017 an employee who was the "trainer" was exposed to airborne lead at twice the permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 50 micrograms of lead per cubic meter of air as determined by personal air sampling conducted by OSHA. The exposure level obtained was 110 micrograms of air borne lead per cubic meter of air calculated on 8-hour time weighted average basis. Sampling was conducted for 306 minutes. The employer did not perform the required measurements to demonstrate the effectiveness of the system, at least, every 3 months.
