29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1): The employer did not provide training to each employee who is required by this section to use personal protective equipment: a) Facility located at 360 Lambs Road, Sewell, NJ, Warehouse/Production: The employer failed to provide training which included when the PPE was necessary, what PPE is necessary for which operation, how to don, doff, adjust and wear, limitations of the PPE, proper care, maintenance, useful life and disposal to each employee on the use of personal protective equipment including but not limited to safety glasses, face shields, hard hats, and gloves, on or about 9/19/2017. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19. Abatement Note: The employer shall verify that each affected employee has received and understood the required training through a written certification that contains the name of each employee trained, the date(s) of training, and that identifies the subject of the certification.
