29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service. Throughout the facility, forklifts were not examined each day before being placed in service for defects such as, but not limited to, inoperable back-up alarms or brakes. Employees were exposed to being struck by forklifts.
