29 CFR 1926.451(h)(2)(ii): A toeboard was not erected along the edge of platforms more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above lower levels for a distance sufficient to protect employees below: (a) Date of Violation: On or about 07-06-2017 and times prior thereto, located at NAS Oceana - Dam Neck Annex 352 Bullpup Street. Virginia Beach, VA 23461, Condition: Employee(s) were exposed to struck-by hazards from a welded tubular steel scaffolding system that did not contain toe-boards at the inward areas where employees pass underneath. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
