29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: On or about June 13, 2017, the employer did not perform a periodic inspection of the energy control program at least annually. Employees perform such operations as maintenance, tool changes, cleaning, unjamming of equipment/machines. Employees were exposed to the hazard of being caught-in the machine and/or an electrical shock hazard from an unexpected start-up of the machine.
