29 CFR 1910.252(a)(2)(vii): Where the relocation of combustible material was impracticable, cutting or welding was permitted when combustible materials were not protected with flameproofed covers or otherwise shielded with metal, asbestos guards, or curtains: At 687 Fee Fee Road, Maryland Heights, MO, specifically inside of the Maintenance Department, the welding together of steel plates occurred approximately ten feet away from five, 55-gallon, open drums partially filled with motor oil, open containers of gasoline, cardboard boxes, rubber tires, and other miscellaneous items. This violation was noted on 06/05/17.
