29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(v): Employees exposed to the danger of injury to the eyes or face from electric arcs or flashes or from flying objects resulting from electrical explosion did not wear protective equipment for the eyes or face: Western Springs, Illinois - On or about April 17, 2017, A motor service technician was required to troubleshoot the circuit elements and electrical parts of the 2,300 V AC well pump located at 740 Hillgrove Avenue, Western Springs, IL., Pump House, Well No. 3. The technician worked in an area where there were electrical hazards (2,400 V AC). The technician was not provided with an arc-rated face shield. The employee(s) was thereby exposed to the hazards associated with live electrical parts.
