29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv): There were damaged parts that could adversely affect safe operation or mechanical strength of the equipment, such as parts that were broken, bent, cut, or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating a) Line 1, near the exit door: On or about 3/29/17, employees were exposed to electrical hazards of 480 volts, in that an electrical cover was damaged and exposing electrical wires while employees were operating the capper unit of the line. b) Line 7, packaging unit: On or about 3/29/17, employees were exposed to electrical hazards of 100 volts, in that the junction box was damaged and exposing electrical wires while employees were operating the label maker of the table conveyor.
