29 CFR 1910.263(c)(3): Sprocket(s) and V-belt drive(s) of bakery machinery located within reach from platform(s) or passageway(s) or located within 8 feet 6 inches from the floor were not completely enclosed: On or about February 24, 2017, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were operating a bagel machine, a loaf cake machine and a round cake machine, a bagel former machine; all of which contained exposed sprockets and V-belt drive, within 8 feet 6 inches from the floor, which were not completely enclosed, therefore exposing the operators to nip, cut, and amputate hazards. NOTE: CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
