29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven -7 feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: a. On or about September 20, 2016, and times prior thereto, in the Mill Area, employees were exposed to caught-in hazards when operating a Slat Bed Multi-blade Saw without guarding over rotating chains and sprockets. b. On or about September 20, 2016, and times prior thereto, in the Mill Area, employees were exposed to caught-in hazards when operating an Out feed conveyor without guarding over rotating chains and sprockets. c. On or about September 20, 2016, and times prior thereto, in the Mill Area, employees were exposed to caught-in hazards when operating a Green Chain conveyor without guarding over rotating chains and sprockets. d. On or about September 20, 2016, and times prior thereto, in the SW Mill Area, employees were exposed to caught-in hazards when operating a Rip saw conveyor without guarding over rotating chains and sprockets. e.
