29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one-fourth inch: The employer is failing to protect employees from struck-by hazards while engaging in production activities. This was most recently documented at the shop located at 731 S. Industrial Ct., Rose Hill, KS, where the adjustable tongue guard on the Jet grinder (Serial number 13041087) was set at approximately 1 1/4 inches above the left abrasive wheel and 3/4 of one inch above the right abrasive wheel.
