29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: a) 23 Goodhart Drive, On the West Side of the Side of the Property by the Garage Entrances, Livingston, NJ. The employer had not guarded the tops of 25 pieces of reinforcing steel projecting up approximately 17 inches from the ground in the general area where sill plate installation was occurring and employees were walking. Violation observed on or about 08/31/2015.
