29 CFR 1910.212(a)(5): Fan blade guard(s) were not provided where the periphery of the blades was less than seven feet from the floor or working level: Die Shop, Oil heater for machine 6045, Wyman Gordon, 244 Worcester Street, North Grafton, Massachusetts; The employer did not ensure fan blades were provided with guards where the periphery of the blades was less than seven feet from the working level and approximately 4 inches from the open side of the machine. The side cover of the oil heater had been removed, exposing employees to unguarded fan blades.
