This creates a condition from whicha static discharge is possible when the grounding straps break or become separated from the equipment. The condition is not visible through the remote T.V. monitor, therefore the operating personnel are unaware of this unsafe condition. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to provide an interconnected grounding system with the operating power supply.
