29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: On or about June 08, 2020, at 7205 S.R. 50 EAST, Groveland, FL 34736, in areas throughout the facility/old mill, employees were performing, set-up, cleaning, service, maintenance and repairs on fertilizer production and bagging machines, during which the employer did not provide the authorized employees, instruction/training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control, nor the effected employees instruction/training in the purpose and use of the energy control procedure, nor the other employees in the energy control procedure, and about the prohibition relating to attempts to restart or reenergize machines or equipment which are locked out or tagged out; therefore exposing the authorized/affected employee and other employees in the machine area/danger zone to nip, pinch, cut, burn, amputate, crush and struck hazards.
