29 CFR 1910.303(e)(1): Identification of manufacturer and ratings. Electric equipment may not be used unless the following markings have been placed on the equipment: voltage, current, wattage, manufacturer's name, trademark, or other descriptive marking by which the organization responsible for the product could be identified a) Shop: The manufacturer's name, trademark, or other descriptive marking by which the organization responsible for the product was missing on the Blue pedestal bench grinder. The bench grinder was also missing markings which included the voltage, current, and wattage , on or about 9/12/2016. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
