29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): Protective eye equipment was not required where there was a reasonable probability of eye or face injury from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation, that could be prevented by such equipment: Complete Liquidations dba The Furniture Exchange/North Brunswick, NJ - Throughout the warehouse: The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles and liquid chemicals and vapors: a) Employees working in the Sanding Area (wood and metal) were observed without safety glasses during sanding operations. b) Employees working in the ReFabric Area were observed without safety glasses when spraying adhesive and using stapler gun. Condition observed on or about July 2, 2013.
