29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(4)(iii)(A)(1): Contaminated sharps were not discarded immediately or as soon as feasible in containers that are described in sections (i) through (iv) of this section: a) Recon, on or about 2/26/13: Used sharps were left outside of a sharp's container, on the shelf of a storage cabinet b) Recon, on or about 2/26/13: Used sharps were stored in unmarked, non-color coded containers including, but not limited to, a 33.8 fluid ounce Schweppes Original Seltzer Water bottle; a 34 ounce 100 % Premium Ground Coffee container; a 2 pound Kraft Original Roast coffee container; and a 13 ounce Folgers coffee container. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
