29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(iii): Cable was not secured to the cabinet, cutout box, or meter socket enclosure: (a)National Food NW LLC, at 25351 National Avenue, Plankinton, SD 57368: On or about and at times prior to February 21, 2025, the employer did not ensure that electrical equipment was free of defect, in that employees were exposed to live electrical circuits associated with a disconnected electrical conduit from motor electrical box located in a red guard housing on the Eggway just prior to the Eggflow. This condition exposed employees to shock and electrocution as well as fire hazards associated with exposed wiring on the motor housings. (b)National Food NW LLC, at 25351 National Avenue, Plankinton, SD 57368: On or about and at times prior to February 21, 2025, the employer did not ensure that electrical equipment was free of defect, in that employees were exposed to live electrical circuits associated with a disconnected electrical conduit from motor electrical box located immediately to the right of the Candler. This condition exposed employees to shock and electrocution as well as fire hazards associated with exposed wiring on the motor housings.
