29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) 156 West Harrisburg Avenue, Elizabethtown, PA 17022: On or about January 14, 2025, employees were exposed to hazardous substances, such as sanitizers used for cleaning and anhydrous ammonia in the ammonia refrigeration system, and did not have hazard communication training. Frozen Food Development, Inc. and its successors were previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1736998, citation number 1, item number 4-d, and was affirmed as a final order on September 24, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 156 West Harrisburg Avenue, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
