29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws: On or about 5/21/2024, in 1743 Scherer Pkwy in St. Charles, MO, the employer used a flex cord to power a garage door opener and to hold up a metal raceway that was falling off the wall. The flex cord was connected in a way so that tension was placed on the cord and joints causing an electrical hazard to employees using the garage door and working in the area.
