29 CFR 1910.146(g)(1): The employer did not provide training so that all employees whose work was regulated by 29 CFR 1910.146 (permit required confined spaces) acquired the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for the safe performance of the duties assigned under 29 CFR 1910.146: a.) PJ Murphy Forest Products Corp., - on or about 3/12/2024 and at times prior thereto: The company had not provided permit-required confined space training to employees. who enter the permit-required confined spaces. Areas included, but were not limited to, drum roller dryer, hopper with auger inside, shaker/dust system, and boiler. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
