29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(ii): Employee training did not include the physical and health hazards of the chemicals in the work area: a) 3008 Penns Valley Pike, Centre Hall, PA 16828 - On or about October 25, 2023, employees in the Crop Department were using chemicals such as spray paint, motor oil, chain lubricant, antifreeze, lubricants, and parts cleaners and were not trained on the hazards associated with chemicals at the time of their initial assignment or when new hazards were introduced into the work area. b) 3008 Penns Valley Pike, Centre Hall, PA 16828 - On or about October 25, 2023, employees in the Wastewater Treatment Plant were using chemicals such as magnesium phosphorus and lime powder and were not trained on the hazards associated with chemicals at the time of their initial assignment or when new hazards were introduced into the work area. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
