29 CFR 1910.134(a)(2): The respiratory protection program did not cover each employee required by 29 CFR 1910.134 to use a respirator: a) Cathode and Anode Powder Mixing Room/ Electrode Department- On or about 6/30/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to respiratory hazards associated with Cobalt, Nickel and Total Dust in that, the employer failed to ensure that all workplace hazards were assessed in order determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which would require the use of personal protective equipment such as but not limited to respirators for employees involved with bag loading preparation and cleaning operations.
