29 CFR 1910.219(f)(1): Gears shall be guarded in accordance with one of the methods identified in sections 1910.219(f)(1)(i)-1910.219(f)(1)(iii) of this part. With respect to an establishment located at 1400 Plover Road, Plover, WI 54467, employees were exposed to potential pinch point hazards: a) on or about September 27, 2022 when the guard for the rotating drive gears of the filler drums in the green bean canning area did not adequately protect employees from the in-running nip points. b) on or about October 20, 2022 when the guard for the rotating drive gears of the filler drums in the root crop canning area did not adequately protect employees from the in-running nip points.
