29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employee(s) using tight-fitting facepiece respirators were not fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator: At a facility located at 111 W Fountain Rd. Webb City, MO: Employees are exposed to potential respiratory hazards, including but not limited to toxic or hazardous substances. This was demonstrated on February 13, 2020 when employees were using N95 and elastomeric respirators while working in an area where dust is present without having been initially fit tested. The employer requires employees to wear a N95 or elastomeric respirator while operating equipment and performing their duties in the bagging, mixing, and grinding areas, or any area where dust is generated. The employees had not been fit tested both initially and annually thereafter to ensure that the respirators are protecting the employee as designed.
