29 CFR 1926.1153(g)(4): The employer did not designate a competent person to make frequent and regular inspections of job sites, materials, and equipment to implement the written exposure control plan: The employer is failing to protect employees from respiratory hazards. This was most recently documented on August 15, 2018 at workplace located at 916 S. Thompson Ave., Sedalia, Missouri. The employer is failing to provide a designated competent person in regards to silica in order to properly assess the exposure of employees, who may be exposed to crystalline silica at or above the action levels in order to make frequent and regular inspections of job sites, materials, and equipment to implement the written exposure control plan and to protect the employees from known respiratory hazards associated with a silica.
