29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: Clean room; On or about 11/21/17, the employer did not provide hazard communication training to employees using Peridox and isopropyl alcohol. Peridox is a cleaning chemical containing hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid, used to sanitize the clean room. Hazards include eye and skin burns, respiratory irritation, shortness of breath and mucous/fluid in the respiratory tract and lungs.
