29 CFR 1910.333(c)(2): 29CFR 1910.333(c)(2): Persons who were not qualified worked on electrical circuit parts or equipment that had not been de-energized under the procedures of paragraph (b) of this section. Such persons were not capable of working safely on energized circuits and were not familiar with the proper use of special precautionary techniques, personal protective equipment, insulating and shielding materials and insulated tools. (a) The employer did not ensure that employees received training in electrical safe work practices and procedures when working with or around electrical circuits that are or could be energized. On or about February 21, 2017, an employee was injured when conducting testing of a step down transformer. (b) In the testing area, the employer did not ensure that employees were trained in electrical safe work practices when working with the dialectic withstand tester.
