29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: a. Spray Booth: On or about February 23, 2016, and at times prior, employees were exposed to hazards from pulmonary distress by not having been provided a medical evaluation prior to wearing a SAS Half Mask Respirator with combination cartridges. b. Gun Stock Bench: On or about February 23, 2016, and at times prior, employees were exposed to hazards from pulmonary distress by not having been provided a medical evaluation prior to wearing a 3M Half Mask Respirator with P100 filter. c. Stock Making Area: On or about February 23, 2016, and at times prior, employees were exposed to hazards from pulmonary distress by not having been provided a medical evaluation prior to wearing a SAS Half Mask Respirator with combination cartridges.
