29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: a) Shipping/Receiving Area, on or about 8/20/13: An extension cord for a bug zapper was strung overhead and being used as permanent wiring. b) Shipping/Receiving Area, on or about 8/20/13: A strip outlet being used for charging screw gun batteries was being used as permanent wiring. c) RGA Area, on or about 8/20/13: A blue extension cord providing current to a Wells horizontal bandsaw was being used as permanent wiring. d) Advanced Air Area, on or about 8/20/13: An orange extension cord providing current to a belt sander and a bandsaw was being used as permanent wiring. e) Advanced Air Area, on or about 8/20/13: A flexible cord plugged into a four way receptacle outlet on the floor providing current to several outlets along two workbenches was being used as permanent wiring. f) Wine Work Cell, on or about 8/20/13: A strip outlet being used for charging batteries for portable tools was being used as permanent wiring. Abatement certification must be submitted for these items.
