29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1): The employer shall provide training to each employee who is required by this section to use PPE. Each such employee shall be trained to know at least the elements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1)(i) through 1910.132(f)(1)(v). On or about November 7, 2023, to March 7, 2024, at an establishment located at 724 South Industrial Drive in Waupaca, Wisconsin, in the spray finishing and stripping rooms; the employees were not trained in the elements required by this section when using PPE such as, but not limited to, eye, hand, and skin protection while working with strippers containing Methylene chloride (MC) and spraying hazardous precatalyst primers, lacquers, and stains. Employees were exposed to eye, skin, and hand damage while stripping and finishing wood furniture.
