29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) 5105 DTC Parkway, Greenwood Village, CO 80111: On or about October 23, 2023, and at times prior, employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals including, but not limited to, respirable crystalline silica, SpecChem Xylene and Master Seal NP-2. Employees were not knowledgeable about the hazards of these chemicals as well as appropriate work practices and personal protective equipment. Exposure to these chemicals through inhalation or skin contact may cause cancer, damage to the central nervous system, and/or be acutely toxic to other organs.
