29 CFR 1926.405(g)(1)(iii)(B): Flexible cords and cables were run through holes in walls, ceilings, or floors: a) 400 Mill Road Wilmington, DE 19806: On or about May 1, 2023, and days prior, employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards when the employer failed to remove a red and black extension cord observed running through multiple holes in the floor and found powering a microwave oven. The extension cords were plugged into 120 V outlets. b) 400 Mill Road Wilmington, DE 19806: On or about May 1, 2023, and days prior, employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards when the employer failed to remove extension an orange and black extension cord that was energized and found to be plugged into a 120 V GFCI outlet which was run through the open elevator shaft where the cord rubbed against abrasive edges and on the ground floor where large contractor gang boxes were located resting on the cord. The extension cords were plugged into 120 V outlets.
