29 CFR 1910.1026(f)(1)(i): Feasible engineering controls and work practices were not instituted to reduce and maintain employee exposures to chromium (VI) at or below the permissible exposure limit: (a)Thalheimer Brothers, LLC located at 700 East Godfrey Avenue Philadelphia, PA-Torching area: The employer did not ensure engineering controls were implemented to achieve compliance when one employee was overexposed to chromium (VI) while performing torching activities. An employee was exposed to chromium (VI) during an 8-hour workday of 0.0055 milligrams per cubic meter as an 8-hour Time Weighted Average (TWA) which is 1.10 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) of 0.005 milligrams per cubic meter.
