29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): The employer did not ensure product identifiers and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals, and which, in conjunction with the other information is immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, and provided employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical. On or about May 13, 2022, the employer at 2421 Morral Kirkpatrick Road in Morral, Ohio failed to provide labels for chemical products in opened secondary containers. These containers held cleaning products, some identified as corrosive, that contained chemical ingredients including but not limited to Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Silicate, and Longchain Alcohol Alkoxylated. These products were used in the workplace for tanker truck cleaning operations exposing employees to these chemicals when installing the chemicals into the mixing system and when spraying the chemicals using a pressure washer.
