29 CFR 1910.178(n)(6):Industrial truck drivers were not required to look in the direction of, and keep a clear view of the path of travel: a. 4050 Tremley Point Rd., Linden, NJ - Warehouse The employer did not ensure that employees operating powered industrial equipment looked in the direction of travel when backing forklifts. Employees engaged in warehousing activities operated equipment that included, but was not limited to Yale, model GLP030VX, forklifts where employees were observed backing out of trailers and moving merchandise in the warehouse while traveling in reverse, and the employee was not looking in the direction of travel. Violation observed on or about June 22, 2021
