29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment. On or about November 6, 2020, and at times prior thereto, electrical equipment was blocked and used for storage in the following locations: a. In the Vacuum Forming Area, a transformer, electrical cabinet, and a knife switch were blocked by stacks of bathtubs, exposing employees to electric shock and fire hazards; and On or about January 22, 2021, and at times prior thereto, electrical equipment was blocked and used for storage in the following location: b. In the Vacuum Forming Area, a 480V electrical panel was blocked by trash and boxes, exposing employees to electric shock and fire hazards. Clarke Products Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1309982, citation number 001, item number 020, issued on October 1, 2018, and was affirmed as final order on October 23, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 2100 B. Orchard Lane, Waco, Texas 76705.
