29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv): Electric equipment had damaged parts that may adversely affect safe operation or mechanical strength of the equipment, such as parts that are broken, bent, cut, or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating: On or about December 17, 2019, employees were exposed to electrical shock hazard and the employer provided the following damaged parts: a) Southside of shop, Weldwire Positioning Equipment WWRD-30 Drive Rail (Serial Number 1105J736911) with a broken metal receptacle box for the motor; b) Northside of the shop, Koike Aronson Ransom Welding Positioning Equipment with an Electra-Gear Motor (Part Number 7707531) with a broken receptacle box for the motor; and c) Northside of Shop near computer, Square D electrical cabinet with a bent cover.
